first_imgRoyal Challengers Bangalore are in Hyderabad for a must-win game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.Virat Kohli’s usual breakfast includes an omelette, three egg whites, one whole egg, some grilled bacon or smoked salmon, a papaya or a watermelon.It’s grilled chicken, fish and vegetables in lunch and dinner.And when you are in Hyderabad, how could one not eat some authentic Hyderabadi biryani for dinner?A day before the high-voltage clash against table-toppers SRH, a few members of the RCB squad along with Kohli reached Mohammed Siraj’s home to enjoy a delicious dinner.Siraj is a Hyderabad local but plays for the Royal Challengers.On Sunday, after practice, Kohli and a few other RCB players including Parthiv Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal reached Siraj’s home at Tolichowki and enjoyed Hyderabadi biryani.They were also served patthar ka gosht, korma, khoobani ka mertha and double ka meetha besides biryani.Siraj first came into the reckoning back in 2017 when he was bought for a whopping Rs 2.6 crore by SRH after a sensational run in the domestic circuit.Later that year, he also went on to make his debut for India.Siraj comes from a lower middle-class family; his father drove an auto-rickshaw for a living.In 2018, Siraj was bought by RCB for 2.6 crore.Last year, he played six matches for SRH and picked 10 wickets. In six matches for RCB this season, he has taken four wickets.RCB face a stiff challenge against SRH later today.
